The first South African SIDS symposium aims to bring the message of advances in addressing sudden infant death in forensic pathology in South Africa to the community.  We aim to create an environment of discussion in which all stakeholders can feel free to enquire, debate and learn from one another.  All medically trained personnel (pathologists, pediatricians, general practitioners, nursing staff, researcher, etc.), as well as non-medical personnel (day care centre staff, members of the public, etc.) are welcome.
